When my brother snores, I usually punch him until he stops or he wakes up pissed off. Snoring makes me very angry and sleeping through it for some reason is impossible. You went about it all wrong, next year just beat the shit out of him, either he'll never know it happened and will wake up with bruises, or he will turn over eventually.
