The New Table and Craigslist Failures
The Low Budget Barn got an upgrade for 2010, and it took the entire Internet to make that happen. But while Marc was successful with his Craigslist purchase, Tod wasn't as lucky. Plus: John Salwin has strong opinions on valets.

I didn't get the picture after reading the show description. I just listened and now I get it.
TOD - get the stupid table from target and invite your friends over to put it together.
question for ya. how many energy drinks did John have before the show?
What would be super cool, if you don't really care about the table you could cut out a section opposite John at the far edge of the top and drop it down so you could sink in a cheapo flat screen. Drop the resolution WAY down and put the chat up on it for the live show so the camera can shoot over it. That assume you are going to return to live shows (please return to live shows, but please, for the sake of my DVR not on a Thursday during TV season).
Don't think that the live show needs to be an epic 4 hour marathon for our sake either. While the one that went past midnight was a hoot I would never ask that much, and grudgingly be happy with less.
You really have no idea how much I missed the show. Could you please do another video tour once you get all the new gear integrated?
If I was in the LA area, I would have show up with my truck - so next time you need cartage in the Vancouver area you know who to call.
I don't know why there aren't more comments on this episode... I found it endlessly entertaining, fascinating AND informative.
PS: "Barn" is wild hyperbole. (Shack is too upscale, Shanty is close and Hovel comes to mind.) The fact that your sound quality so surpasses other podcasts when they have the luxury of an ENCLOSED space is a testament to something... probably Marc's reckless spending on equipment.
PS#2: Anytime guys. It was fun in an aligning of the stars/ridiculous adventure sort of way.
Monkeypants, you are the hero of all LBFM fans (and hosts)! And we're all jealous that you got to experience the barn!
We bought a ping pong table for $20, I don't believe it's been used more than 5 times in the past 3 years.
Build your own table.
There are always a bunch of ping pong table listings on craigslist. And they are rarely over $50. I'm just saying.
