Listener Mailbag and The Lounge
Marc and Tod answer some mail regarding Jared Leto, the show's rotating cast of "female co-hosts," and a specific instance of a 'creepy guy.' Plus: we go inside the Low Budget Lounge with mixed emotions.

Since Low Budget is now the #5 ranked Jared Leto podcast I felt everyone must be told My So-Called Life is on Hulu.

Worst episode was Marc drunk from his hotel room.
Worst episode - worst episode - worst episode..... Besides the chicken one?
I didn't really like the mini one where you were reading commercials. Well, - yeah - maybe I like that one. Scratch that.
Uh... um... the Marc drunk one in the hotel wasn't great. Kinda funny, but... ok - scratch that one.
Was the time you were killing the giant cockroach an episode or an event IN an episode?
My goal here is to have a single website I can use to lower my self-esteem. If we could just double our efforts in listing all of the crappy shows I've had a hand in, that'd be good.
Hey guys, I never knew you even paid attention to my comments! But trust me, I'm not trying to be contrarian, they're really my sincere opinions. I really did enjoy the boneless chicken episode and don't see why it was so bad!
I guess I have the bad habit of complaining more than I compliment, so here's an example of what I love about the show: the listener mailbag episode where Tod went off on the listener who asked him "What are you trying to prove?" Tod took what little was there and turned it into a challenge to his masculinity, which was hilarious. What was great was that Cioffi was there that day, so Tod, in the middle of his (faux?) outrage, also expressed his insecurity about the listeners supposedly finding Cioffi funnier.
When I post comments on the Internet, it doesn't feel real to me, so when I hear actual people referring to my comments and using my name, it's freaky!
I feel bad for Marc now, too be honest while I liked the ep with Gina Grad ok, I did not truly care for the Star Wars scene reenactment, Tod was funny enough but it was just "meh", that's not Marc's fault, suck on that Tod.....
Why were the listeners not asked to list the best episodes? When the F are you going to start recording the interstitial stickam stuff "just in case" sometimes you guys discover some hilarious shit in those "off air" bits.
Let's not pity Marc too much he is seeing live Rifftrax tonight although Mike Nelson might try and slip in some bizarre hardcore christian propaganda so maybe we should pity him a little extra.
...oh and where are my props for recognizing the "Scat Man" based off that photo, C'mon!?
I recognized that dude based off of half his Moustache.
I got the joke last night when I heard them play that odd segment from the last live show, shit was hilarious.
I loved ALL episodes. I wet my pants laughing each and every weekday morning and then I listen to your show!
Kidding - I P AS I listen to your show and lmao!
Not one bad show to date!! But - we have a live one tonight so... we'll see...
I just remembered something. Marc, you might recognize me, by my e-mail, as the guy who e-mailed you about a week before KLSX blew up complaining about the station's online stream. I was a bit harsh, but in my defense, I didn't know YOU were the webmaster. I would have been nicer if I knew (I remember you as one of the few voices of reason on the old Carolla board). How embarrassing.
I really liked the "William" character as someone who hates everything that we do, but listens to it anyway.
I like the Caprise character as a girl who wets her pants at everything we say... as long as she is a she. I sure hope we don't have to do some sort of Caster Semenya gender test on her.
And Gio, that was a great call on the Scatman.
I had quite a list of things I didn't love about the show... but decided I didn't want to completely crush Marc's soul. Besides, this is the only podcast that regularly makes me literally laugh out loud. (This can be particularly problematic. now that I commute on Metrolink. Talk about looking creepy...)
Like I said on the Stickam show, I like happy Marc much better than grumpy Marc.
