"What's that word?" (I love that)
War bank. HAHAHA!
Glad to hear a less smutty ep. Thanks!
Did you know that England paid off their Lend/Lease debt to the US when Tony Blair handed the last cheque to Bill Clinton?
I don't know what you are complaining about, I sent 3 killer news monster worthy stories to Tod, just because you chose to burn one in an unreleased episode is not the point.
Also my iPod Touch is lonely with the lack of exclusive content.
I remember a step between pull tabs and attached tabs, we had aluminum tops that had raised circles you were meant to push down through the top, a large drink hole and a smaller vent hole. These fuckers were near impossible to open, but I was also pretty damn young and only remember them one summer when we were at the lake.
Actually the word "baby" follows Achtung the most.
some weird stuff on the subject of WWI
on june 28th 1914 archduke ferdidnand was assasinated triggering WWI
on june 28th 1919 the treaty of Versailles was signed setting up europe for WWII
on june 28th 1995 i was born
pretty weird
John Salwin, you are indispensable to Low Budget FM and a sensational radio personality (even though you crapped on The Dark Knight in this comment area some time ago, which will still take time for me to forgive). May you never miss another show (I know, unrealistic, you guys have lives, blah blah).
Don't get me wrong, i do love John too, but I am also a fan of the different vibe of Marc and Tod only shows. I also dream for the day that Cioffi Talk becomes a reality, so until that happens I will have to scrape by on his now rare appearances and chime ins on Fitzsimmons.
I am on Team Cioffi which has treated me well, he introduced me to all things Chambers and helped me come around on Ryan Wong, from podcast hero to goat.
Goat, hahahahahahahaha
Yeah I also love the different classes of shows we get, the Marc and Tod solo ones have a unique energy, the John shows are also unique and the rare treat of a Cioffi appearance always changes the game too.
Speaking of different shows...is the era of Stickam shows over? I certainly miss cracking open a couple
Rolling RockHites and enjoying the broadcast... Hope one is scheduled soon.I second that, Scott. We NEED another LB Stickam show!
i wish i could see them im way back east and they come on at 11 here
what is it witth Salwin and Germany? and did i hear Tod right when he said Salwin listens to Skrewdriver? WTF!? Tod you better get someone to interpret that "Hitler' quote they keep playing, im fear the word JUDEN is in there somewhere!
HAHAHA! that Bing interpreter totally sucks, i reinterpreted the german back to english and its all gibberish. typical.
Um, it's so not Hitler. You guys just expose your racism every time you say that. Notice that Tod always refers to the Hankook Market (it's the same company that makes tires) as the HanCOON market, effectively offending both koreans and african-americans.
If you want to know what the drop is saying, it is " Warning (low budget news monster) A ghost concerns Europe. And yet, the moment is now (hite beer)." Who's racist now, Mr. Perry?
I wasn't aware you could be racist against Germans, them not being a race and all. Unless...you're into some neo-Aryanist shit that says otherwise, JOHN?
I must admit my mispronunciation of Hankoon doesn't in anyway reveal any racial prejudice. But I am skeptical of any ardent speaking in Germanic tongue.
P.S. John, we must celebrate any joint day in which both The Raiders and Cardinals proclaim victory!
Yes we must! I think I drank seven martinis during that last game. So much gin!
Laxdude, I only remember seeing those "push down" tops on Coors... and this was back when you couldn't buy Coors east of... what... the Mississippi? (The "plot" of Smokey & The Bear must be very confusing to anyone under 35.)
Regarding the ep: I'm glad Salwin is back and (slowly) returning to normal. That parade must be a BITCH.
