Marc and Tod Saw Them Crooked Vultures
A little band by the name of Them Crooked Vultures performed at The Wiltern in beautiful Los Angeles, CA. Marc and Tod were there, and after the show they recorded this.

There have been so many dissapointing supergroups over the years. Zwan, Audioslave, A Perfect Circle, etc...
Free range chaunch. Ha!
BTW - I bought the LB app and now I wait for Santa to bring me an iPod touch.
Eh, who cares about Them Crooked Vultures anyway? What the audience REALLY wants to hear is a review of the HITE restaurant and sports bar that is located catty corner from the Wiltern. As for supergroups, the best ever has to be the Gravediggaz, the pioneers of Horrorcore Hip Hop.
Have you considered recycling some the San Diego shows, in order, as bonus material? Say an hour of air time at a go once a week? I would particularly enjoy hearing the show from the beginning, bout you would have to treat them lke an archive. The full show (broken into parts), no editing, no censoring, so in other words, treat the show with the respect it deserves.
Also, I find the Low Budget App kind of confusing. I wish the Bonus Material were not tied to a specific episode, but was its own page all together. That is what was messing me up earlier.
Still rocking the bonus material at $1200 and hour, time to get that ratio down guys (yes, I could the iPod Touch I had to buy)
Now Tod. When it comes to Jeff Lynne of E.L.O. and the creator of The Traveling Wilburys, well sir, you can go fuck yourself. If you look at his body of work he is clearly the musical cream of the Willburys Crop and second only to George Harrison (although he does top him in volume, it is a fucking tragedy that Harrison released so little music). Then comes Tom Petty, great guitarist and a descent song writer, Orbison plays and sings well, but is not known for he writing, and then there is Bob Dylan who frankly should go fuck himself. Maybe he can compose a song but is a marginal singer at best and an even worse musician. Looking at Wikipedia, all the good Tom Petty songs I could name except one or two were not only co-written by Lynne but produced as well.
You can criticize Lynne only for making the Beatles sound like ELO.
But kudos for even knowing that Jeff Lynne exists, +1 for that, and then -100 for dissing him so bad.
Going off of what laxdude said, you guys should rerelease The Awesome Show! Tod might be a bit upset, but I'd love to hear what Marc was like before the Low Budget podcast.
Now Laxdude.
To put Jeff Lynne above Bob Dylan in terms of musical talents is short sighted and clearly wrong. Although I do believe that when he plays harmonica he’s just playing random notes and he is an average guitar player. Now, that being said, I do like ELO and Lynne’s work with Harrison, right up to his last album which was fantastic. Although his production work on stuff like “When We Was Fab” made George sound like he was ripping off ELO ripping off the Beatles. I didn’t know that Lynne co-wrote a bunch of Petty stuff, so I’ll give him credit for that too.
Now, did David Lynch choose ELO when he needed a song for Harry Dean Stanton to lip-synch to in Blue Velvet? No. I’m sorry, he picked a Roy Orbison tune. Now I’m not sure what that proves. But it means something.
To me Orbison is at least a noted vocalist. I know a lot of people fall all over Bob Dylan, I just don't get it. I can not get past the disheveled hobo look, incomprehensible singing, and guitar/harmonica 'playing' that is not worthy of note. Maybe he can write a song, but he can not create a score to the same depth that Jeff Lynne did with ELO. I will also admit that Lynne is not a gifted vocalist - yet I still count his Armchair Theatre as one of my all-time favourite albums.
Do you really consider Dylan to be anything other than just a name? I would say that Petty is a solid player, composer, and performer. I think that Del Shannon or Duanne Eddy would have been better Wilburys than Dylan.
Jeff Lynne also has to atone for Xanadu. Xanadu and making the Beatles sound like ELO.

And just to let you know, there was a trophy for the yearly competition between Grizzly and Raptor, it was called the Naismith cup, named for the Canadian that invented basketball (while in the US).
Since they are no longer both Canadian teams, I am sure the trophy is up for grabs, you might get it cheap.
Adam tim and doug damnnnnn
One of the all star episodes should be the entire cast of females (and ghosts of) who have appeared on low budget. It's existence would be a bit
I'm not going to comment on a live show I haven't seen, but the Them Crooked Vultures record is ridiculously horrible.
