Tod Albion Perry returns to LBFM!
Its like Macarthur returning to the Philippines. Except not at all like that.
Thanks for Rilo Kiley, Tod. Nice use of curse. I love that band.
This podcast triggered some flash backs.
I enjoyed hearing Tod back on the show, hopefully he and Salwin will pop in now-and-then to Low Budget.
I'm looking forward to the Far Out Podcast, another great comedic podcast would be a great thing to have, and will be a good complement to LBFM.
While I do miss the days of Marc and Tod, the latest podcasts with Marc and Mike have been very strong and I'm really enjoying this duo, I hope everything goes well with the transition to ACE and you guys start earning the sweet, sweet cheddar your deserve for making the funny!
As an aside, how busy must the Ace warehouse be now? I imagine their weekly schedule is just packed trying to get all those shows recorded.
In case anyone missed this in the episode, here's the website for Tod and Salwin's new show:
Far Out! — A free, weekly comedy podcast
I see Marc's added it to the "Friends of Low Budget FM" box on the right, but I'm putting it here also in case people don't notice it there
So Cioffi's down with bocce ball, the official sport of elderly men? SHOCKING!
a bocce set was the first thing i added to our wedding registry.
great bar stories too. always enjoy hearing of drunken nights out since i cant do that myself.
I propose a hybrid podcast "DC 101: The Lost Tapes" I'll take credit for the edits even though Marc will actually do all the work, Tod and John would have to participate but they could poach some listeners for FAR OUT so it's really win/win.
One episode a month, gang record two or 3 sessions and then slowly release them.
Hearing Tod do his patented snort made me realize I need more DC101 in my life.
The people demand more DC 101. At least a little more.
Finally! The return of Mr. Perry! Great stories. Congrats to you dudes on the transition to ACE Broadcasting & I will be listening to the Far Out Podcast.
The last few shows have been very entertaining! Britt had a surprising amount of "audible" energy on the news monster show.
Now hear me out... how about mr MonkPants and a few other regulars arrange to "Kidnap" Tod once a week or so, there could be vans, machine guns, screaming and death threats, his bride would never be the wiser that he was merely going to a studio each week and if Tod didn't want to go along with it you could just beat him until he complied, have him do the show broken and bloody.
I love Marc and Mike Lbfm and I love the old format but there's something magical when you get all 3 of them together, even if we have to make that happen by force I say we do it, don't even get me started on the Salwin "Rape" scheme I'm working on...
Craig...Nice "Albion" reference. I once threatened "Princess Perry" with naming a child "Albion."
"I propose a hybrid podcast 'DC 101: The Lost Tapes' "
THIS. NOW. MUST HAVE!
This episode made me ohsohappy. Hearing Tod, Marc, and Mike together again was magical. I do love hearing the trio, and would love to hear John on there again too (also, WHERE THE FLIP IS SEENA?!). Mike and Marc really have changed the show and hearing Tod on it made me realize that the show is totally different, in a good way.
It is nice to finally know what "getbent@lowbudgetfm.com" was referencing.
You guys all need to work together more often! The comedy trio is back with a vengenance! ;-)
Bring John too!
