Can someone explain the "hite" references in the news monster lead-in clips? I was thinking that it had something to do with Hite Beer but that still doesn't make the clips make sense.

Probability is a son of a bitch

Yes it does Chello, Hite was a large part of the show last year, there was corporate sponsorship with all kinds of international intrigue and corporate espionage going on.

Mr. Kim is watching us all MAN!

I loved the Mark David Chapman joke.

Cioffi's confusion while reading manga was a close second.

On the way to Las Vegas this weekend, I kept seeing Hite Beer billboards starting from Victorville to Baker... I immediately thought of Low Budget!

Mike I hope you come along next time ;-)

Wow. I appreciate you representing Carolla network fans but your stock really plummeted with me now that I see that you're the type to throw off racial slurs.

It was a joke, if you were aware of the backstory of the show perhaps it would make more sense, if you're truly offended take a hike, I don't give a fuck what you think, listen to the show and shut up if you don't like people's comments or how about you listen to an old ep and figure it out.

I don't care what my "stock" is with you, I don't know you and I don't believe in your PC word police bullshit, Chello "he said the first three letters of a term that represents a race of people instead of completing the full word, oh no the world is ending whaaaaaaaa, someone made an appropriate in context joke, whaaaaaaa but he's not a professional comedian, whaaaaaa he can't say things he doesn't mean for comedic affect whaaaaaaa, whaaaaaaaaaa"

Man go listen to some other show, I'll bring 3 new listeners in your place who don't have rules about the type of comedy their allowed to be exposed to, shit maybe it's better you don't listen to the back catalog if that tiny little term offended you...

Also there is no quoting in place on this forum intentionally, they don't want people infighting and whining about each others posts here, this comment section if for genuine appreciation of the show, questions from new listeners and crazed super meta comedy from the regular listeners who have a long history and are able to kid around on a level you might not yet understand.
