Pillow-Muffled Gunshots, Lap Sitting Contests and Co-Host Abuse

If you're ever caught trying to blow up a radio station, kill whoever found you with a gun muffled by a pillow. Plus: a listener is upset with the treatment of Britt, and we have the Inaugural Low Budget FM Lap Sitting Challenge (which surely has nothing to do with this being Britt's last episode of the show.)

Marc likes boobs so much he grew his own.

I think for talking shit about the barn that Britt should be fired and never allowed on the show again. The barn is a more active contributor on average than Britt ever was. The barn also sounds better. Britt only wins when it comes to looks, the barn never looked good on video, but it is an audio podcast so doesn't really matter.

Happy trails Bitchney. Looks guys, I did it!

I'm torn. On one hand, Bell is way better at improv, but on the other hand, Britt is a human being.

And even out of context, Cioffi's joke at the opening of the show was one of the funniest things I have ever heard.

I'm with Britt on this one... I Have better things to do with my life than listen to marc be a waste of life. Mike, you are still cool, but I cant take another second of listening to marc voice. Do you really blame Britt for leaving? Really? You have lost a listener.

Is there a show I missed, where the F is all this coming from?
I feel like there is some overarching weird meta ongoing joke that I missed, how did we get here?

June 4, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterGiovanni G.

Yeah I'm about half way through the show now, still don't get why Brit is leaving, I've heard every ep since she started and before, perhaps I was preoccupied during a previous ep where this was discussed? Was it really for the reasons Ladude noted?
So let me get this clear Brit quit LBfm, I've never said a harsh word about her and am slightly perplexed, how many new co-hosts do you guys intend for me to have to learn to enjoy? huh?

Where the F are you guys recording now anyway, what's the deal with that, I think maybe Lax got it right, what's up with the secrecy, is it a gay place or something are you guys recording in a bathhouse?

Cioffi's improv about using women for Drug Mule's lead to one of the funniest back and forth moments in the shows history, Cioffi setup a flawless comedic idea and Marc didn't fuck it up, his line about the Human Shield was amazing and the Cioffi asked the exact question I was thinking, you are some professional level funnymen.

I think these 3 together are the best combination in the history of LBFM. Don't be faggot douches, you only harp on Brit because the only vagina you've ever felt was your mothers when you were born. Assclowns.

Britt is awesome.
She is at most .4 Sobels and she can't leave before she goes on a date with Tracy.

Who said Britt is leaving? I just said she should be gotten rid off (whistling to myself, looking around). I know NOTHING.

I just like the show. It is different now, that's okay. Britt has just been wildly erratic. I remember one great show, then she stopped talking again. I am afraid she is too timid, too young, and not willing to share. Maybe it balances out that Marc over-shares.

My first post here might have foreshadowed future events though and I might just be trying to spin it, I am pro-Cioffi after all. I might be his Mo Dameshek. I know I was one of about 3 people that listened to Behind the Unibrow on purpose via streaming.

Gio - it hasn't been talked about on the show yet. Britt left for personal reasons.

Marc, please pass on to Britt a thanks from the fans for trying, although not my favourite, she showed a couple flashes of greatness. I think with some more life under her belt and some a lot of reps she could grow into a broadcaster.

My first post on this episode was a lame attempt at giving Marc and Mike something to work off for the next batch of episodes.

She was less annoying than Seena, who always seemed to despise the show and especially the fans of the show. I wish you could steal Yanara away from Sam Phillips (tm) of the Single Life (R) Podcast.

Just for a laugh you should book Ryan Wong as a surprise guest, lock the door, and let Cioffi and Rhino 'work it out'.

Personal Reasons = Pussy Cancer?

I'm sorry I had to write that, I tried not to but it seemed to good, farewell Brit I have nothing actually rude or condescending to say, you were alright on the show and at times very funny be safe in your ventures and this fan has no problem with you making a future visit to the show if your up for it.

Holy crap! I agree with Giovanni on something!

I will miss Britt. Screw you haters.

Am not looking forward to the Marc and Cioffi Show. Marc's OK, but I am so sick of Cioffi, words fail me. I started off liking him, really. It's his fault, with his stupid playing-dumb act. "We are? It is? We do?" It's his only trick in his improv bag, but that doesn't stop him from playing it over and over and over. Another co-host really helped distract me from his hacky comedy stylings.

Sorry to sound so mean. I miss Tod and John a lot. Am super-depressed now.

If you barely like Marc and loathe Cioffi, maybe this show is way over your head. Maybe you could fuck off and peep the HTLA lineup. Mike and Marc never fail to have me in stitches on almost every ep.

Wait, Britt is leaving? This is a tragedy. The show will never be the same again. Britt has been the crux of the show since day one, writing inventive bits, spilling her soul on-air. I really enjoyed hearing about Britt's tumultuous relationships with suicidal Asians. Oh, wait, that was Marc. Sorry. An easy mistake.

Meh. I like Cioffi a lot more than when he first became a regular co-host. He definitely has his moments. He seems like a genuine guy and I have nothing against him. Though, I feel like I don't really know anything about him other than what he does for a living. I guess that a certain air of mystique is necessary when you're the baddest thing to ever walk this town. I'd like to hear his thoughts on Nietzsche. Comedy gold.

Anyway, Britt actually wasn't so bad, but it baffled me why she was on the show in the first place. Sounds like she hasn't come out of her shell yet.

June 5, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBrian

Tragedy indeed. I am so sad to hear that Britt is leaving the show, seriously.

Britt, you will be missed and despite what all the haters have been saying you made a great difference and added a nice touch to the show after tod and John left. I really hope i will hear your voice again.

Farewell
Peace
Jules

PS: Marc, Mike, you're ok. Who's going to be next?

June 6, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJules

Personal reasons = Grandpa Bickle needs 24 hour care.

June 6, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJason

This bums me out. Sad to hear Britt will be leaving. She will be missed. I think she was doing a fine job with you guys. I have to admit while I will continue to listen and be a fan I miss John and Tod too. Ever onward.
