A Blowhardy Discussion About Moving On
Be it a go-nowhere career, an unfulfilling relationship, a shitty apartment or myriad other attachments, sometimes you just have to muster up the courage to move on.

See? Cioffi even admits to being a robot. The story is just further proof.
I have moved on from getting kicked out of my house, living in my car, living in a closet, a biker drawing a firearm on me, working full time while going to school full time and getting stabbed by a crazy woman who was pushing me to adopt the woman I am married to today.
That is why I am building a survival bunker of a house, part of which will be able to survive a sizable car bomb going off outside and has convenient shooting lanes and defensive positions. I am not sure anymore if I am planning for the end of times, the coming zombie apocalypse, or to hunker down after a killdozer like killing spree to see how many of "them bastards" I can take with me. My only problem is the only offensive vehicles I have ever seen were on the A-Team. I am not sure a cabbage or watermelon based weapons system cuts it in this day and age.
Seriously, good podcast. As scary as the title was (I have picked up on the call the show an end vibe), I like it when you have a 'very special' episode when people stop being polite and start getting real.
The best thing I moved on from was when by job went from being the greatest thing in the world to a giant ball of shit and pain. I told them I didn't need this, I had done a great job for them, and walked straight out the door. Things worked out.
And yes, I was fired for not getting shot stopping that biker from stealing a Dodge Stealth. I think it might be time to 'move on' from the Carolla family of podcasts now that I think of it.
But apparently, you don't move on from a podcast you hate with a passion, laxdude. Or should I say, RandyAteGina?
Knock it off bill, you turd.
That was a great post and you just tried to sully it with your whiny nonsense, you're the one claiming to not even like that show now, why don't you move on.
I always like to read William's posts as William Shatner. He seems just feisty enough to be the culprit.
Oh William, I have moved on from PGP. I also applaud them for breaking away from HTLA though. I have much bigger bones to pick with the Carolla cast.
I never even hated PGP, I was more shocked they found anyone to keep listening to it, I consider them the 2.5 Men of podcasting. At most I disliked Ryan for talking crap and being a weasel in general.
Cioffi is a ROBOT. The only question that remains, is he of earth origin?
anyone notice how marc and mike switched roles by the end of the show? Marc started by saying he moves on easily and saying Mike doesn't. At the end it seemed the total opposite. Btw, Mike must have the best moves, or Marc must irradiate a-holeness(there is a show about this, i'm not bashing.) Seems all the girls on the show gravitate to Mike... get gina on again!
Great podcast guys, really hope the speculation contained in laxdude's post does not turn out to be true. I have to agree though, sometimes moving on is the best thing to do. Been there done that, and have no regrets. But please, before you do, think of how your legions of fans will be left with nothing but PGP to listen to... Oh the humanity!
But seriously, I don't know how guys that do what you do put up with all the message board negativity. I seldom post or look at the feeds because I find the shows so enjoyable, I never want my funny memories of the shows tarnished with meanderings from miserable retards. There's far too many of them in this world, and they make way more than their share of noise. Whatever you choose to do, if in fact this was a poignant sign off, I wish you both well.
Please keep the funny coming. Regards~ Dustin
Hey, without message boards Cioffi would not have been called 'podcast aids'. With very few exceptions, I don't think anyone has ever had serious complaint about LBFM.
I think you guys give us an awful lot by letting us into your life while having fun with each other. I think the show is as good as ever. I really like you guys and hope you break into paying gigs in entertainment sooner than later. If I ran show biz, you would be my go to guys.
Great show, the first part scared me, I thought you guys were giving the eulogy of LBFM.
Haha, true enough laxdude, podcast aids was pretty brilliant. I agree, most people that post here are usually supportive, it's just the 1% a-holes that are bothersome. As I aslo theorized once on the Carolla feeds, none of these guys would have the balls to say what they say in person to the hosts in question. Too easy for idiots to hide behind anonymity. Wouldn't take much to make someone second guess their comedy or ideas and just walk away.
But after all, since Cioffi is the undisputed baddest man in town, he DOES have a reputation to uphold. Can't just leave all that power, "juice" and glory sitting idle!
And by the way laxdude, did I see you mention earlier you were in Vancouver? Funny if so, me too, seems like there's a strong LBFM following north of the 49th. Low Budget road show! Come on guys, maybe megacorporate sponsor HIte Beer can kick in and rent you a tour bus!
I am not in Vancouver proper, but pretty close.
Daphne's Greek Cafe around the corner? Did you guys just blow your undisclosed location?
Further review reveals that this place is actually a chain that I hadn't heard of. You get away with another one, boys.
This was an amazing fucking ep, I felt it was aimed at me even though I assume it was not, I scored a 6 on the NPI from Drew's book so it's not an ego thing.
Hook a fucker up with some advice, I'll take it and thank you for it.
Loved Cioffi's Boston revelations in regards to his trip, that was some good content!
Marc's a mess but somehow still more put together than I am, nice work Marc!
Really strong episode and it was Funny, it was also deep and thought provoking, thanks a lot!
Listening to this episode made me kind of bummed out. It was really good, and I appreciated a somewhat real view into the host's troubles, and I might just have been hypersensative. Awesome episode, though.
