Sure, people love to talk about being a doctor, a lawyer, a vet, etc. But what about some... alternative career paths?

Please explain the vigorish, Mike Cioffi.
Great episode!
My favorite post-"Low Budget Reformation" ep. so far.
Marc's thoughts on the art of strangulation and dreams of cat burglary were effing hilarious.
"Wouldn't you be proud to know the Koreatown Strangler?"
As far as fantasy jobs:
Fighter Pilot (but, in real life those guys are boring)
Building Demolition Guy
Professional Horse Handicapper
Treasure Hunter
Astronaut
Cosmonaut
"Wheel Man" or "Wild Card" in an art or jewel heist.
Homicide Detective
Drug Dealer (either street level, or kingpin - i'm not picky.)
Yo-Yo MasterZombie Killer
Space Smuggler
I am trained to be a high school science teacher, yet have worked as the following.
Museum assistant, security guard, archivist, assistant museum manager, park attendant, public relations design clerk, reserve police officer, urban planning clerk, urban planner, assistant manager urban planner and then a consultant in two fields, security and museum/archival. I topped out as an acting senior level municipal manager, probably would have taken off the acting but an old nemesis took over above me and cock-blocked me. It was just easier to tell them to go fuck themselves and be a stay at home dad/consultant.
I think you should call your podcast school an academy
Loved this ep! it was dynamite.
Marc's ideas are fanciful and at times sounded as if they were ripped from my own imagination, so stop raping my brain or I'll sue you for parallel thought infringement.
Marc's going to Coachella huh? I fear he won't return the same man we once knew, all Etarded and slow with a few new face STD's and a sad video of him nude being gang tazed by 3 cops with his dong on display for the world.
My dream job was to be a space cop.
So Marc, with you baking more ways than one in the desert, does that mean a break in podcasts?
Since you will be near Riverside, don't forget to stock up on meth.
Cover your dong bro
Stay the fuck out of my territory, Chambers.
LOVE THIS EPISODE!!!
LMAO through the whole thing. Almost wrecked my car when Marc was talking about running for President with all his 'baggage'.
And yes, I would be damn proud to know the Koreatown Strangler! I'd bet on his next vic through Cioffi, my bookie.
The great thing about being the Koreatown Strangler would be the police would look for a Korean guy.
Great episode today
Tod? Tod who?
Loving the Marc & Mike team!
I'm loving the Marc and Mike team too and whomever posted as the Ktown strangler up there, that was genius! even if it was posted by some asshole, my compliments to you mysterious asshole or non asshole, that is some bizarre meta/conceptual comedy, makes the episode even funnier.
man the comments here are almost always hilarious or interesting, like 99% of the time.
Compared to other boards/comment spots this one is very relaxed too, shit maybe we should all gang up and write a sitcom or some shit......even bill, he can be our PA
Mr Chambers ... you would assume to join the elite part of society that we run? My ears must be deceiving me! What's your birthright to such an honor?
My PTSD (Post-Tod Suicidal Disorder) may be relenting after this show.
F%^&ing Awesome
PTSD--hahaha!!!
Giovanni is right. This show really does have the best commenters. It is also the only board I will actually participate in.
Other unnamed podcast websites have been rendered useless by hoardes of trolls that have nothing better to offer than bitching, typos, and racism.
Even the "controversial" posters here are better than 99% of people elsewhere. Though I often disagree with (uh...lets call him....uh...."Billiam"). He at least has something to offer.
I feel that the situation that Marc mentioned in regards to the corrupt politician position sounded like the plot to "Walking Tall" starring our dear friend THE ROCK! Awesome movie! (Even breaking the tail-light scene is in the movie...uncanny!)
Joe Don Baker is rolling over in his future grave right now
I think I would also like to be Jimmy James from Newsradio - a generally fly by the seat of his pants billionaire with fancy plans and pants to match not to mention the monkey strong bowels.
Jimmy James was amazing, Stephen Root was the craziest motherfucker and only got weirded for that entire series, guy is a talent.
I don't really have a "Dream Job" I've been racking my brain but keep coming up with nada, when I was a kid I would just repeat random jobs to people to get them off my back, wtf does 7yr Gio know about career goals.
As an employed person I've had my any hope or chance of a future crushed at every turn, fuck it I'll probably end up homeless unless some sort of global catastrophe happens, I think I'd do real well against roving packs of post apocalyptic cannibals or better yet zombies.
so I guess my Career goal is to survive the first wave then raid all the liquor stores, pharmacies and police evidence rooms load up my first stolen Lambo and drop off all the good stuff in my new skyscraper apt, I'd then break into some military base and use the flight sim to teach myself how to operate a VTOL, keep it on top of my skyscraper.........I just realized I'm describing GTA san andreas , I guess I want to live in GTA
i wanna be the vice president when i grow up
