The Mike Patton Show

Recently, Marc and Tod were invited to Bakersfield's Hot 105 as guests of The Mike Patton Show. Here's the clip of their appearance.

I assume this is the same Mike Patton that's the vocalist for Mr. Bungle and Faith No More. I'm a bit surprised to hear his career has taken him to Top 40/Conservative Talk in Bakersfield.

I really like the Hot 105 mascot- A Bald Eagle spinning records on two turntables.

I thought you guys were gonna stay away from political talk? Yeah, I realize it's satire (obviously there is no Hot 105.7 in Bakersfield), but it's still political satire. This is the first episode I've ever skipped.

What are you talking about, William? Hot 105.7 is part of the Bakersfield media group (the hot cluster in Bakersfield). The stations include-

Hot 105.7
100.7 The Beast
106.1 The Krab
Sports Talk 1400am.

Mike Patton is a legendary personality in Bakerfield (at one time he commanded a 68.3 share in the market). Still, if wanna skip this episode, I recommend listening to Truck Nuts aka "A Big, Hefty Pair." Quality episode that a lot of new peeps may have missed.

Don't forget Patton's other project "Peeping Tom" damn fine album from a couple years back.
